Story of the studio:

In late 2022, my husband lost his job of 18 years suddenly and surpisingly. We decided to take a leap of faith after 20 years of photography…and turn our goat & quail barn into a photography studio. What was once gravel, hay bales, and our goat’s birthing space turned into a luxe and lovely destination. The perfect space for families to relax, feel and embrace beauty, and leave with gorgeous imagery.

The studio is located on our mini family farm in Troutville, Virginia. We’re only about 15 minutes from downtown Roanoke! You’ll find our private studio is a little escape from the loud city and nestled among the trees and mountains of our area. Once here, you’ll see a comfy bed for cuddly family portraits, a swing (the favorite!) for unique and minimal portraits, a modern kitchen for classic sink baths, and a fantastic Client Closet packed with trendy, neutral clothes for the whole family.
