Their scrunched little face
the softest, sweetest, little smell
The way their backs arch and their legs stay curled when you pick them up
The baby fuzz and tiny little pimples
The wrinkled toes and flaky skin
The startle reflex
The nuzzling, rooting, and ever constant wiggles
The way they hold your finger
The way they perfectly mold against your chest
The way they stop crying the second you pick them up
The way your body physically changes just thinking of them
The dramatic, tiny yawns
The way you have known them for so long,
but feel as though you just met
The way you can’t even remember what life was like before them
I want to remember it all.
