Hey, First Time Mom.

I'm going to tell you something that might shock you a little. I'm sure it'll be one of those things that you think "Nope. Not my kid!!" But those of us who have had kids a few years now...we all will understand this completely.

KIDS ARE WEIRDOS.

For real. They do strange things all.of.the.time.

They pick up on your weird things...and they flaunt it in your face. They act like goofballs in the most inconvenient and embarrassing of places.

On the regular...they do things that make you look at them and think "Surely, I never did that." But if you ask your own mom, you'd likely be surprised.

So let's embrace these little, strange creatures we created. Maybe for blackmail one day. Maybe to show their future girlfriends. Or maybe to just bring a smile to your face on those extra tough days.
