Are you an aspiring photographer?
Do you want to learn what I use to capture my images?
Let me show you what has earned the right to stay in my Jo Totes Gracie Mint camera bag!
First up...
The real star of the show here...my Nikon d600! This full frame camera really rocks my socks. It can handle dim situations, monster sized raw images and my quick shutter needed for kiddos.
My favorite lifestyle companion...the Nikkor 35mm f2 lens. This little guy is lightweight and dependable. It's wide enough for cramped places and low light!
The good ol' "nifty fifty" lens. Old school & always reliable. This little guy lets in some serious light for those close up images. Great for portraits and indoor shots with low light. The 50mm 1.8 lens is always a photographer's friend and captures great, crisp images.
85mm 1.8. Oh, how I love thee. This is my favorite lens of all. It doesn't do as well indoors, but a little space outside and this beauty gives bokeh you dream about and crisp images that make you drool! A great portrait lens for every camera bag!
This my newest crush. And I'm crushing pretty hard. The Nikkor 105mm 2.8 is a fantastic Macro lens that doubles as a great portrait lens! Sure, you need a good amount of distance for the portrait images, but it offers some smooth bokeh if you have the room!
This is a Nikon SB-600 Flash. It has the on camera bounce flash ability and off camera flash options! This is a great way to add some light without the "deer in the headlights" that you often find with the standard on camera flash!
I hope you enjoyed seeing a glimpse into my gear! Prime lenses have a place in my heart, though, there are many great options out there!
